If you are going to be doing some heavy off-roading, then you will be able to detach/reattach the doors easily. These are held in place by a convenient single bolt.
Side-view Mirrors Are Attached To The Chassis
Unlike the competitors of the Bronco such as the Jeep Wrangler, the removable doors do not mean that you will have to drive without your side-view mirrors. The Ford Bronco has its mirrors attached to the A-pillars and not the doors. And you can safely remove your doors without having to lose out on your mirrors.

The Bronco’s New Engine
The Ford Bronco no longer comes with an eight-cylinder engine; buyers can choose to opt for the standard engine or a V6 version. The standard engine that is going to come with the Bronco is a turbocharged 2.3-liter engine. This will be able to provide 270 horsepower and 310 lb-feet of torque.
The V6 is a twin-turbo 2.7-liter engine that will provide the car with 310 horsepower and 400 lb-feet of torque. There will be a hybrid version available too, according to Ford.
The Bronco’s Transmission and Performance
The Ford Bronco is going to have a 10-speed automatic transmission system. This will be connected to both the engine systems. However, there is also going to be a 7-speed manual transmission system that will only be connected with the standard engine.
Despite being connected with the smaller engine, the manual transmission system is going to be extremely powerful. Experts have said that it will be perfect for tackling obstacle pathways at low speeds. It’s ground clearance is also impressive.
Additional Equipment For Off-Roaders
The all-new 2021 Ford Bronco will also permit off-roaders to enhance the capabilities of their vehicle. For example, by using the appropriate tires, the Bronco will be able to enjoy a ground clearance of more than 11.5 inches.
This means that this powerful SUV will have the capability of safely crossing a water body that is more than 30 inches in depth. Ford has also confirmed that both the two-door and the four-door models are capable of towing more than 3500 pounds of additional weight.
Upholstery and Interiors
The Bronco is perfect for off-roading, as the interiors are finished with wear and damage resistant rubber flooring and vinyl upholstery. This means that this SUV is perfectly capable of withstanding all kinds of terrain, and can also be easily cleaned.
The floor of the Bronco comes with a small rubber drain, which means that the interiors can be easily hosed down after a particularly grimy stretch of off-roading. The switches and electronic components are all encased in rubber. So that they don’t malfunction after a cleaning.
Convenient Driver Assistance Systems
The Ford Bronco also comes with driver assistance systems, which will allow newbie off-roaders to learn the ropes of off-roading in a safe and responsible manner. This system is called the “Trail Toolbox”, and it will help drivers to access a variety of useful off-road features.
For example, one of the features is a “Trail Control” feature, which is basically a cruise control feature that is perfect for low-speed off-roading. There’s also a “One-Pedal Drive” which will automatically apply the brakes if the driver takes their foot off the accelerator pedal.
Additional Communities for Bronco Owners
Bronco owners will also be able to access free off-road experiences called “Bronco Off Roadeo”, which will be situated in four permanent locations across the United States. The Off Roadeo experience will allow Bronco owners to teach themselves how to tackle off-road trails and environments.
The sale of the Bronco will also launch an online community called “Bronco Nation”, where Bronco owners and off-road enthusiasts will be able to have discussions, share photographs and enjoy. This kind of community will allow them to build a large and inclusive community again.
